I have recently purchased a 1987 Golf 5 door hatch, without its manual. Located it the boot are two sets of rubber straps that obviously used to hold something in place. Two are located at left rear side just behind rear wheel arch and the other two left side under hatch lip. Can anyone advise what these where used for. (Not the jack, its located as it I believe it shud be in the miidle of the spare wheel. Thanks
