I've torn out the A/C from my 83 Scirocco, and I'm wondering whether the 90A alternator upgrade is necessary or even desirable (I need to replace it in any event). There are few power options on the car, and I don't plan for a high-powered audio system - something like a basic Pioneer unit. The 90A unit is many more bucks, so aside from that wonderful feeling of empowerment, I'm not sure what I'll gain. Any suggestions/recommendations from those who've been there? H2Only
