have your battery tested when its started does it stay running?sometimes if you have a cell going out in your battery it will start fine but when you turn it off and try to start it agian it wount but if it sits it builds back up enough charge to start agian thats why you are able to start it after an hour or so dont think is a ground problem or youd have other problems

Very well could be, it was with my 88 S-10. The guy who f'd it up tried to tell me I needed a new fuel pump, but it was just the wiring he screwed up. I had to have a wiring specialist fix it.

Distributor module crapping out in the heat? Do you have fuel to the injectors and is the ignition firing?

some people get confused when a car dosent start dosnt mean it dont fire are you getting spark you could have a bad coil have you checked your battery could have a bad cell have you checked your plugs and wires a missfire could be the problem we can sit here all day and tell you what it could be but we need to know what you have checked if anything there is a due process to diagnosing and then there is the process of elimanation

Yes, of course. Personally, I didn't know enough when my truck started acting out on all its many problems. I learned this one, [and wont forget it soon], by a fluke and an auto electronic specialist. hard to find around here.
