I have a 97 S10 Blazer with 140,000 miles on it. It has an oil leak in the general area above the oil filter. Where are the most common areas to check first for the leak.

...and don't remove the oil filter adapter without having a new gasket (and, preferably, O-ring) handy. The old gasket will be very brittle, and will break apart when you pull the adapter.
