1988 S-10 Blazer 4.3 My question is,does my compressor suppose to run when the heater is in the heater-defrost position?Or could this be a switch that has failed?Thanks Bobby

In defrost at temps above 40 the compressor will run to remove moisture from the incoming air, thus avoiding w/s fogging.
