HARD STARTING H E L P

I have a 96 Chev. dually with a 454 in it. It runs great but the check engine light comes on all the time. The truck sometimes, after having been driven will not start(just turns over). After a while 5 minutes to an hour starts right up. It does not do this everytime, though. It has 94K on it and is all stock. I have replaced the gas cap, but to no avail. The codes say the left and right bank are running to rich. I have taken to the Chev store and been given the run around,"they say we will replace this, that etc.......... Cost$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, we think we can fix it though." It usually happens when the gas tank shows 1/2 a tank. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Barbara

I have to give my truck a little push on the accelerator to get it to start sometimes.. other wise you have to crank it for a long time and it just kinda slowely starts... I'm going to have some work done on it soon and I'm gonna have the regulator checked.. I've always wonderd about this.. but I to dumb/lazy to check the fuel pressure..
