disconnect battery for about 30 minutes
Yeah, she lives off the juice in the capacitors for quite some time eh? ;-)

hell, on some Ferds, you have to disconnect battery, turn on headlight switch, short the battery cables together and leave overnight
and sometimes it still isn't enough
