What are the internal drives of the New Process Transfer Cases and what is the case material??? Add to the list if you like! Particular applications aren't needed...

Cast iron, chain. Full time operation from the factory.

Cast iron, gear. Part time operaton from the factory, relatively high low gear

Aluminum, chain. Part time operation. Good low gear, weakness: aluminum case.

NP241

Basically the same as an NP208

Dana 20 - Cast iron case, gear driven, pre-'73 though.

To identify a 205 from a 203. Look at the back of the case roughly in the middle, there will be a small circular plate (~2") wide with 3 bolts holding it on. Thats a 205.
