won't start

01' chevy 1500 series V6...noticed slight hesistation in motor recently..this past friday truck died and would not start back up. saturday changed plugs, fluids, and fuel filter. Truck still seems to crank, but will not start. thinking maybe fuel pump, but i am no mechanic. please help with any suggestions

first thing can you hear your fuel pump run? there is a port on the fuel rail where you can hook a guage to test fuel pressure and do you have spark? there is 3 things that make an engine run fuel, spark, air
