hi the coolant temp gauge is flashing and making noise ive check it and it seems fine any ideas..just bought the car and im having probs cause ive no manuel..thanks

What car? One of the causes for a flashing temp gauge is slightly low coolant level. Add a cup of coolant/water and see if it stops.
