is "discounting".... by offering an '04 S4for $57+k.
I believe that MSRP is about $45k, (look here:

soyou can calculate the "discount." Why would any dealer or anyone, for that matter, sell a B6 S4 at a discount?????
They're all gonna sell, if not to you then to someone else.....
Anyone who gets one at MSRP should consider himself fortunate, at least the first year.....
I guess it never hurts to ask..........
