Just purchased a '94 540i and am very pleased. However, the on-board computer doesn't work. Nothing on the display. Where should I start looking to get to the root of the problem? Do you think it is a fuse situation or something else? Sorry - not very mechanically inclined.

Hello,
Possibly the backlight bulb lamps are broken, have the obc removed and check the lamps.
First remove your radio, next the bord computer can be removed.
