Hi plastic intake tub to electric water pump just broken. Any idea if is replaceable front part of this pump - or I have to look for all pump. What this pump is for? Never saw this pump in another car! Best regards bmer lover. George

This auxillary water pump is to help get the hot coolant into the heater matrix. You will have to replace the whole pump.

Been there, done that.
