You guys are the experts... I just know I replaced everything on the rear brakes (pads, rotors, sensor), left igniton in pos 2 for 2 mins and the error was clear. I drove it for 10 mins and during the pad bedding, the error latched again...
I reset it a couple more times and it always latched agin pretty quickly. I took off the front tire and cleaned the sensor (very caked with dust) and this time the message stayed cleared. Maybe I just had a loose connection somewhere though.
Appreciate all the advice - my problem appears solved for now....
