E39 528 Stabalizing link bar failures

Hi ive got a 96 e39 528 and have had it for 3 years now and i am about to fit its 3rd off side stabalizing link bar (the gators split), Every time the MOT is due i seem to have to replace it, there are speed humps where i live but i cant understand why its always the off side one thats the problem, i cant see any evidence of a more serious problem elswhere thats cousing this.Has anyone had this problem before, many thanks in advance Dean.

Are you using cheap replacement parts? Seems unlikely that the gaiter would be split if it's fairly new unless it wasn't properly installed in the first place.

They are oem parts and are fitted carrectly.

Is this front or rear? On mine at the rear, signs of cracking of the rubber bush were advised years ago, but I haven't changed it yet and it's not showed any symptoms of not working correctly. (If the business part of the bush failed you'd be in no doubt)

The Front offside is the culprit, the rubber splits along the bottom of both the upper and lower ball joints.
