1500 350 pegs oil pressure indicator 25% of the time

I replaced the sensor.......any ideas

Be more specific, oil weight, air temp when you see it peg and so on. I sounds like a bad connection someplace. Also post what year and type of truck

pegging the guage would be a short to ground. the best thing to do would be to "T" in a mechanical guage and see if the oil pressure is exceding 60PSI. if it is... be happy.

Yeah, enjoy a healthy engine! Mine's pegged 75% of the time, and has been verified with a mechanical gauge. If your bearing tolerances are nice and tight, you'll see 60psi ("pegged") at anything over 1500 RPM.
