2000 Tahoe won't engage into tow/haul mode when I press the button

I checked the fuses and couldn't find one for the transmission. There are a couple IGN's, but all are OK. Any ideas?

My buddy has a tahoe that had the same problem. The wire from the automatic shift knob broke.
