89 Suburban rear A/C

On that year model, are there two seperate A/C units or does the rear work off the front A/C?

Got one where the rear A/C is out and wondering where to start at if the rear is not cutting on.

Thanks

If I understand your question, the answer is that there is only one compressor that provides freon to both the front and rear AC evaporators. Do you mean you the fan works but the air is not cold or do you mean the fan is not coming on for the rear? AFAIK, there is a separate fan for the front and back systems on pretty much any of these dual systems.

Rear fan not coming on. Thanks for that verification.

99% chance it's a fuse, switch, or the fan motor but could also be the speed resistor has burned out although they will usually work on high speed still when that happens.
