I have a 1996 s10 with 2.2 that broke the timing chain. since then it has had a dead clinder while at low rpm, but once rpm comes up some it runs smooth. I figured it bent the valve so i took the head off and all the valves seem to be good. also i checked the push rods and none was bent. any one know what might be the prob? any help is appreciated

Jay,
Did you do a basic compression test on that before you tore it down? If the head is still off-run some solvent into the exhaust and intake ports and see if any leaks out from under the respective valve heads. Hang in there. Respectfully submitted,
