ABS - 2001 Suburban

Aug 31, 2003 6 Replies

I have a 2001 Suburban that when I turned the key off there was a buzzing nosie from the unit underneath the body by the drivers side door where all the brake lines feed into. I had to pull the 60amo fuse for the ABS brakes to stop the buzzing (and no more ABS). Anyone out there have any ideaes about how to fix this ? The truck is 45k miles and no warrenty :-(

time to trade in or repair and keep driving ?

can it be done by the home mechanic or is it a dealer recommended replacement - its not a recall correct ? and thanks for the info !

No, is not recall. You can try at home and see, nothing to loose

My abs module is still working and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. However, I came across this in another forum.
