I have checked the fuse and it is good. Then I pulled the connector from the switch on the pedal. Which two do I connect together to get the brake lights to come on? Or is there more than 2?
The connector reads A B C D E F G H and so on and so forth. It's not easy to get to, either.
I looked in my Haynes, no telling and the schematics might as well be Russian.

What kind of truck do you have and what year?
sorry, it's a 98 Chevy Silverado 4x4
Have you checked your connector plates? (the part that the bulb plugs into) They go bad on a regular basis from the heat generated by the bulb. Places like AZ sell 'em for about $25 a pop.
And yes, it is possible for all your bulbs to burn out in quick succession - or over a long, unnoticed period of time.
Start with the back end and work your way forward - and no, the schematics aren't in Russian.....they're in "Technician"... ;-)
