My wife's Tahoe has the stock dual-zone HVAC controls and I was wondering if I could add the electronic climate control which was a $195 option new. Does anyone know if it's just the in-dash controller that gets changed or are there other pieces to the puzzle? Thanks.

On my 03 Silverado, I notice there's some type of Sensor on the Headliner above the Drivers head near the door. I don't see it on trucks with Manual controls. I almost thought it was a Remote Microphone for Cell phone use or something.
