Can anyone tell me how to activate the thermometer read out on the rear view mirror. The compass works fine, thermometer reads 0 degrees constantly. Thanks for the help.

Sounds broke. Replace or disassemble and repair.

Typically an inverse temperature coefficient thermistor is used as the sensor. Meaning as the temperature goes down, the resistance increases. I'd look for a broken wire or failed sensor. Should be somewhere behind the grille and AC condensor. Might just try plugging in again.
