Ok I have a 89 chevy silverado I just put a 283 in it and used my old transmission which worked fine before I pulled it out of my other truck, now it strains to shift in 1st and 2nd sometimes it feels like it starts in 2nd sometimes whats my problem? somoeone said torque converter but i dont think it would be that so if anyone could give me any suggestions I would very happy thank you.
