So I went ahead and bought myself a new Canyon, regular cab, SLE level trim. GMCanada website specs show the SLE trim wit a 6 speaker stereo. The on-line configuration tool shows a 6 speaker stereo. The quote emailed to be by a different dealer than the one I bought from showed a 6 speaker stereo. The US site also shows 6 speakers.
The truck has 4 speakers.
The dealer says that's all it is supposed to have.
What's the best way to approach this? Now it's a matter of principle.
If the configuration is anything like the full size trucks, the front speakers in the doors consists of two speakers behind the grill on each door. Combined with the two rear speakers, that makes six. Obviously it may be different on the smaller trucks.
The doors have two speakers each, a lower speaker and an upper tweeter. The lower is NOT a dual cone speaker. There are no rear speakers.
