Thanks for the input. I've actually finally tracked down an S-10 with low miles and will more then likely be getting it. I really didn't care for the Colorado's interior, and what do you see while you are in the damn thing? Well besides the road I mean :)
Dealer did a leak test, found body seams not sealed around pillar / firewall. Fixed.
Dealer did say they had one other in like this, so it may be a common issue.

Had a problem similar on the roof of an `02 Astro. Must have had that damn thing back to the dealer a half dozen times and it would continue to trip from the corner on the drivers side. They finally ended up sending it out to a place that set off smoke bombs inside of it and looked for where the smoke was coming out.
