Power door window problems

It seems like the power window on my drives side refuses to work. It is currently in the up positon. Anyone know what wires I need to jumper to check if its the motor or the switch? I know I can pop out the switch console form on top without rmoving the door panel, so any clue as to what wires I need to test?

Just how do I get the door panel off. I know about the plastci clips, which I have managed to pop loose and also the two screws in the arm rest, but I still can't seem to get the door panel off.

How hard is it to change the window motor? Any help appreciated
