I have a '94 S10 TBI, bought the Edelbrock intake manifold for it, got looking for the ECU under the dash. I thought it was supposed to be above the passenger kick panel, below the glovebox. Nothing there. I saw something about some models having a different ECU, one that has flash memory, and it's in the engine compartment. SO, what am I looking for there? My truck has a large black electronic module of sorts on top of the water overflow bottle, if you can call it that, something like three large plugs at the back of it. Is this the ECU? Am I screwed for getting a new prom from Edelbrock for this? Thanks to all.
