The car sometimes won't shift out of second gear. I can stop I think this is the "limp mode", and it has a MIL code of 45 which the chilton book I have says "an automatic transmission input DTC has been set in the transmission controller". I have no idea what that means! And the book doesn't explain.

If it?s the same as my Chryslet Sebring it was a speed sensor in the tranny housing. ~$45. 15minute fix. Good luck.
