I have a 1998 chrysler sebring coupe lxi with a 2.5 liter engine. wher
is the fuel pump relay located if it is not under the hood in the fus box? I bought a haynes manual and its not where it says it is

Umm - you looked in the Power Distribution Center (fuse/relay box) that

The coupe has a separate box that houses the ASD and Fuel pump relay. It should be next to the PDC located just slightly below it . is a small box with a cover about 2 inches by 2 inches
