Described as a "bold and beautiful new car".

Don't you guys get Dodge Ram's, Durango's, Dakota's, or 300M's ?

Not officially. I suppose some people import them specially. However, I saw a 300M in a Chrysler showroom in Germany early this year.

If you look at Chrysler Europe, the supply (Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge/whatever) is: Neon Sebring (sedan and convertible)

300M PT Cruiser Voyager Grand Voyager Liberty (don't know why) Grand Cherokee Wrangler Ramvan

The UK will probably only get models in which the steeringwheel can be moved to the right. Officially there are no trucks (Ford/GM/DC) for sale but some will get here nonetheless. The same goes for the truckbased SUV's. With fuelprices 3 times higher than in the US and roadtaxes based on HP (Belgium) or weight (The Netherlands) you do the math. The largest Ford for sale in Europe is the Mondeo (which fits in between a Focus and a Taurus). In the Netherlands (16 million people) there are less than 600 300M's on the road. Wranglers are only on sale because of the 'promotional' effect. The number of sales is not enough to give it showroomspace. I doubt the 300C will be sold at all as it will be way more expensive and doesn't have any value over a Merc overhere.

I drive a 1998 Stratus (labeled Chrysler overhere) because second hand US cars are cheapish and I'm 6'7 and need a BMW 5 size car and don't have that kind of money. Besides that, I'm a sucker for US cars ever since the Dukes of Hazard and have previously owned a '91 Cherokee.

In total, US cars aren't very popular overhere. First of all the weight and mileage don't help, and second we pay between 20 to 40% extra on US cars compared to you. Personally I'd like to drive a Intrepid 3.5, but that's not going to happen.

Probably (or those where they think it's worhwhile moving the steering wheel).

Earlier this year I saw a 300M and a Sebring in a Chrysler showroom in Germany.

I asked about the Crossfire (after Detroit motor show launch) and was handed a brochure.

This particular Chrysler dealer (not owned by DC) had been down the road from the town's main Merc dealer (part of MB group). MB bought it and moved it next door. Should be interesting....
