Engine / Trans removal Caravan

Oct 06, 2006 1 Replies

Hi, Working on thie motor in situ is a pain - literally and figuratively. I have to do the cam seals and timing belt.

I'm thinking - it would be a lot easier if I could lower the entire powertran out of the vehicle and work on it on the garage floor. I have a twin post car lift in the garage so raising the car off the powertrain wouldn't be a problem.

Is this an option or am I heading for more trouble than I can imagine. Time is a consideration - I have to have this car back together by Sunday night.

Thanks

Peter
