Fault Codes for 1996 Ram Van 3500 Series?

I'm troubleshooting a 1996 Ram Van 3500 series. CEL is "on". When reading the fault codes via the flashing CEL, I get a "12" followed by a seemingly-endless series of "43", "43", "43" ....

Apparently the Ram Van series uses different codes than my '97 pickup, which always terminated in a "55". Can anyone point me to a site with code listings for a '96 1-ton van?

best regards,

Martin

How do you interpret which subcode is being set? Is it related to the number of times "43" is flashed in a row? I always cut it off after about 5 or 6, thinking it was an infinite series. And is there an online guide for interpretation of the subcodes, assuming I can figure out how to read them?

Is there any significance to my getting a repetitive series of "43" codes, instead of the usuall "55" to end?

I don't know, if the code was for fuel injectors, maybe? Sometimes when computers spit out nonsense, it means the computer itself is having problems. I think it's time for professional help with this problem.
