Pacifica owners regard the name "station wagon" as a swear word and will crucify you for even suggesting that their station wagon is a station wagon. (not that you don't deserve crucifying for other posts, mind)

I don't mind the reference to "station wagon" but I do mind the reference to the 1964 Ford Country Squire!!!

Are we to assume you are puzzled by the word "roadworthy"?
The initial question asked for the basic difference between the Pacifica and a '64 Country Squire. Given the advances in technology, suspension, performance, safety, etc., I said roadworthy as the Pacifica is considerably more roadworthy than a '64 CSquire was when new. Of course, the CSquire is a Ford therefore it can be argued as to whether it was EVER roadworthy.
In case the word "roadworthy" in-and-of-itself has you puzzled I meant it as being "worthy" of being driven on the "road".
If you still have a question, perhaps you should ask it instead of posting a bunch of question marks!!!
