Inexpensive PT Cruiser rims - 15"

I'm looking for decent, inexpensive rims for my PT Cruiser. I've been looking around on the net, and most sites only have a handful of wheels, and they look like they belong on Hondas. Any ideas for someplace with a big selection? Or any tips on other factory Mopar rimes that would work? Neon etc?

Thanks, Steve

Since there are so many possibilities, why don't you start off by telling us what you have now and why you want to replace them. Then, tell us what inexpensive means to you - $40 each, $100, $250?

Fair enough - I have plain stock black rims. The hubcaps on the front had to be busted off when I replaced my brake pads because the shop that mounted my tires put the cheap plastic lug covers on so tight that they stripped coming off. I have found a few rims in the $100 price range that are 15", but I don't really want to pay that much. If all else fails I'll buy another set of factory caps, but I am hoping to find something different. There about a bazillion PT Cruisers where I live, and they all look about the same.

Well, at that price point, I don't have a recommendation other than chesk with a automotive recycler (salvage yard); there are plenty of wrecked Cruisers. A good yard will be part of a network so they can find it, if they don't have it.

Good luck with your quest.

Will they actually bolt on to a 15" using hub?

Mine are 15" - I suspect both are an option. After a lot of searching online, I am going to keep an eye on the local yards for a factory set of alloys. There are a couple of designs available, and all better than steelies and plastic hubcaps.

Hmm, my 2001 PT came with 15" rims...that was the standard size. The

16" were from the Touring option.
