On the latest generation mini-vans (mine is an 04 with this issue on the driver's side) reports are circulating that the side doors work great in power mode but can become resistant to movement in manual mode. Is there an easy fix for this. It almost sounds like it could be a defect in the motor that is causing this resistance. There are no unusual sounds or movements or changes in the speed during power open or power close functions.
