Have you replaced your plugs and plug wires? I have a 96 w/the 2.4, and the

I agree with Dtracer. Your plugs and wires should be changed at
45,000 miles. I don't care WHAT the book says. That 100,000 mile tune up is a sales gimmick and should NEVER be used. One thing, it is an easy job on that engine. Do it right now ,and even if that is not the complete problem, I promise you that it WILL make a difference in the way it runs. GOOD LUCK
