My comment: People frequently bid up auction prices higher than the items are worth. Something that would sell at a garage sale for $1 will sell for $5 at an auction.

I think you should listen to what art has to say, i have read his posts for quite sometime now and he is bang on for almost everything anyone asks. I am glad to see that he has lost the biases opinion that people have for pre
1993 chrysler cars and realizes that the newer cars are built pretty damn well. Anyway thanks Art.I've been to Edmond's and Kelly's attempting to learn the differences between the 300M and LHS. The 300M is slightly more expensive but I can't determine why. Any sites that list these differences for the '99 and '00 model years?
The cars are mechanically identical to any degree that would affect reliability. The only differences mechanically are very trivial- suspension firmness tuning, things like that. Same engine, same transmission, same A/C, same *everything*. Sheet metal differences make the 300m "sportier" and it sold better and thus commanded a higher price.. Personally, I think its much uglier than the LHS- it looks like a designer said, "Whoops! Its too long. Better saw off the trunk." But a lot of people didn't like the LHS's "F86 Sabre jet intake" style grille either, and I love it.
The 300M is shorter, sportier and more popular. Also some have a performance option that added to the price.
help.
