I remember my father had an Austin A60 Cambridge Farina and they came with circular speedos, so it's not that. Regards Mike.

I thought we'd already sorted this - it's an A40 Farina MkII. The ADO16 of similar vintage had the same shape speed, but from that drawing it may have been a different colour.

I thought we'd come to a consensus, too...

Still, nobody wanted the damn thing on fleaBay - even at 99p - so it's still sat here...

The Mk1 Morris dash looks vaguely similar, but the warning lights are in different places, so definitely not that.

The fixing brkts are in the wrong place for a Mk2 A40.The parts book shows one central at the top and two at bottom of unit.I've compared the pic with the 3 mk2'sI have in my garage and the 4 spare speedo heads on the shelf. The quoted numbers do not line up with the parts book. Mike.H.

Oh...

Wonder what it IS off, then? Any other thoughts, since it's not ADO16 either?

I've uploaded 4 pics to link below A40 Mk2 speedo, The "mystery" speedo, The best pic I can find so far of M1100dash, cropped version of the above.

They do look very very similar, both of 'em... You say that you've checked an A40 Farina dash and the mountings are different?

Wonder what the score is on the Morris ADO16 one?

the A40 unit is all black The "mystery "unit has grey gauge faces and faceplate on speedo panel The script on gauges unlike anything I've seen on an A40

--------------------------------------------------------------------- "You say that you've checked an A40 Farina dash and the mountings are different?"

Correct, the mounting brkts are not the same.

--------------------------------------------------------------------- I am trying to contact a friend who is heavily involved with the ADO16 to get his opinion. Mike.H.

Thanks, Mike. My email address works.
