Austin Healey 3000 MK2A British Racing Green

1963

23,500 miles. Series BJ7; 2 plus 2, 60 spoke chrome wire wheels, tonneau cover, four speed gear box with overdrive gear. This car has a special provenance in that it was the very last complete MKllA off the production line, hence they painted it BRG, not a normal colour for the Mkll, to mark the occasion. Runs beautifully and has all bills, service history and was restored in 1998. We will be sad to see her go, but need to clear the garage space. Photo available.

Offers for this unique car please in the region of £20,000.

*very* *very* tempted at that mileage. Sadly, impractical as I don't live in the UK and have other projects on the go.

Have you tried the Healey club?

It's not unique, surely.

Ben Blaney ( snipped-for-privacy@ukrm.net) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying :

What's mileage got to do with condition on a 41 year old car?

All it shows is that the poor bloody thing's never been used, and will probably have all sorts of problems from being laid up.

Almost as cringeworthy as adverts for "unique" registration numbers....
