Metro A+ gearbox free to good home

1275 box from 1984 metro 1380cc project rebuilt with new bearings about 10k miles ago. The diff has been removed but there's a good gear cluster and housing left. It's off to the tip unless someone wants to pick it up from Chalfont St Peter. I'd rather it got used than just chuck it. Not worth my time posting it though so collection only please. Also sundry other bits like twin HS4 SU's, starter motor and maybe other MG Metro engine bits if I have a hunt round. I think there's a set of used 1380 Hepolite pistons somewhere if I can find them.

I'm not at all sure why women like men. We're argumentative, childish, unsociable and extremely unappealing naked. I'm quite grateful they do though.

Ummm... How? I mean, maybe you have, but how on earth did you get the crank to take the right flywheel?

Although I don't think you'd do too bad getting bits like the pistons and suchlike, but I'm not so sure the box would be much use to you! :)

Please excuse me, my brain has retired for the duration and neglected to notify me. What I *should* have said was "Having just had an MG

*Midget* lump fitted to the Minor".... I have no excuse. Guilty as charged. Take me away. Gibber.... wanders off mumbling

You could always have gone for the MG Metro lump and box, and tried to make the Minor fwd :)
