If you want installable software, so that you don't have to connect to the internet, I can highly recommend Microsoft AutoRoute. I have AutoRoute

2002, which includes a postcode search facility and also most of Europe in detail. You can buy original software on eBay for £10-£20. An alternative is AA MileMaster, but I'm not sure whether this includes Europe

BTW, from your postcodes, you are travelling from somewhere near Llantrisant - isn't that the hole with the mint :-) to a place near Aylesbury. The distance is 159.7 miles. AutoRoute does function down to street level - it will actually pinpoint individual addresses.
