Concur utterly - had a mini van too - you seen the price of them now :O(
Mine went (in the space of a year) from being MoT'd whilst the men from the ministry were doing their checks to failing on corrosion in :
front subframe mounting rear subframe mounting floor pan inner wings (both) and inner wing / bulkhead join area (offside - I'd already had the drivers side welded up when it started creaking under acceleration).
Went to look at a Riley Elf a few months back - one look underneath and all the memories came flooding back. I walked away !
