My friend was trying to change the starter in a 97 Plymouth neon. He was using a Haynes manual and one of the steps was to brace the engine andremove the front engine bolt. Then let the engine slide back to get to the starter. Well, he didn't brace the engine and the engine slid forward. Now he can't get to the starter and doesn't know how to get the engine back. Any suggestions? How would you brace the engine? Is there an easier way to get the starter out? Thanks.
