Crazy speedometer

98 Neon This morning the speedometer went crazy it is on 0,the it goes to 5 MPH, then back to zero. Any ideas?

Probably a bad circuit board. Try smacking the top of the dash to see if you can make it come and go

3 speed trans does not have input/output speed sensors
