FS: 1976 Dodge Royal Monaco (revised)

FOR SALE: 1976 Dodge Royal Monaco for $1,000: 182,265 miles, 4-door sedan, 6 passenger, 18.8 feet long, 360 cubic inches (5.9 liters) 8 cylinder engine, power steering, power brakes, cruise, automatic transmission, all molding & badges, over $1,000 new parts/labors/receipts.

A grocery-getter, garaged daily from 5/1989 to 10/2004, then under tarp daily & started every 3 days for 6 minutes when not in use through 2006.

Differential's pinion nut's torque slightly out of adjustment; loosened in

2004, then set to 100 pounds (lbs.) (should be at least 210 lbs.), afterwards automobile driven 1,100 miles in 6 to 70 mile trips up to 65 miles per hour.

Front bumper cushions (five-mile-per-hour absorbers) rusting; spare front & rear included.

Air conditioner's front seal leaking; three replaced since 1989 for average life of four years.

People can love a car all they want, but it is always a shame to see them spend huge amounts of money on a vehicle that will never have a significant value. Happens all the time though.

Most vehicles will "never have a significant value", so the money you spend is do-it-yourself maintenance for transportation. It doesn't seem like a lot of money when you have no car payments .... ;) Save a lot of cash on insurance, too.
