i have a 77 trans am for sale in the southern mississippi area. it has a 455 v8 with a mild cam, edelbrock manifold, holley carb, headers, flowmasters, automatic transmision with a shift kit, and a hurst shifter. the car is in really nice shape. the only thing wrong with it is that the driver side rear fender flare is missing and the front fender has a small crush where it wraps around. the paint is good but not the greatest. asking $6000; please only serious inquiries.

Based on that, I could easily score 15gs for my 400 4 speed.
That's a $2000 car at best (and that's if it's an SE, even though the value went out the window with the original engine gone).
