Car update

Well, the car went in yesterday... yeah!!! So in 2 weeks or less I should have my baby back all shinney and dent free!!! Oh and with all luck power locks and windows and all new weatherstripping! So I will have a gorgeous car for January when I move out to NC. Should have more options for car parts out there.

Good for you Geno, I hope that she turns out to be a peach. Make sure to post links to pics when she's done.

Yes I think that farther south you'll find not only more parts, but more people who drive performance cars. Here in WI you have to be very dedicated (and a little crazy!) to maintain a classic car, since the weather is bad 6 months out the year! Make sure you post some pics! Terry

Only 6 months??? You mean 12.. the ohter 6 are road construction!!! HAHAHA

Pics will sure be coming. Same color though, didn't have the time to research them.. and I don't want to spend all that money to have it come back and me hate it... I just find it funny having more T/A parts that Camaro parts now. :-)

It definitely is easiest re-painting any car the same color. I've been thinking about buying a 3rd (or even 4th) gen Camaro, since I sold my '68 I'm looking for a change. Some people I know keep trying to talk me out of it, but $$ is an issue for me, prices are so much lower for the newer Camaros...Terry

Just start with a V8 car. Third gen body parts are starting to go up in price, yet they still are not that hard to get. With a 3rd gen, unless it's a special car, it's acceptible to dress a 82 as a 92. Not to mention if you modify them properly it does not effect resale value.

If you can really afford it, get both a first and third gen. Charles

you're not the first person that's told me to get a 3rd/4th gen camaro AND a first gen. Wish me luck convincing my wife of that...
