I'm waiting for the retro Camaro, doggone it!!

But the HHR doesn't look that bad to me, if you want a GM version of a PT Cruiser.

C'mon, GM, you're gonna let Mustang reap the profits from all the American musclecar buyers? KennyH

I've heard that there are pix of "prospective replacement Camaros" out there, but I have yet to see a link...anyone got one? As it sits, I'm moving back to Ford once they come out with a replacement for the Mustang Coupe...as I have no other viable GM alternative to pick up at the moment.

They are with that stupid SUV and arguably the SSR, but otherwise nothing. They don't have anything to compete with the Lightning. They seem content to grab the ricer market. They have dumped all of their performance eggs in the upper echelon (Vette, Caddy) and need a Stang stomper.

Is that the one that goes on a C-5? There's a guy around here who has a Vette kit of mid-50's vintage on a Nova chassis. It looks really nice, but is larger than the original when you get close to it.

The PA Auto Show in Harrisburg PA had the Chevy SS four door. From the front, it had the step fendors of a per-war chevy. That was it.

However, Pontiac had the Soltice which drew a lot of postive comments according one of the Pontiac Specialist touring with the car. Interesting comment from her was the people don't want old cars like the Firebird. It was not worth mentioning all the folks elboying their way into the Mustang (very OLD car name) over at the Ford section and the almost as large amount of folks wanting to get into the GTO (an OLD Pontiac name) and never mind the LINE to get into that very very VERY OLD OLD car call the CORVETTE!
