What's the difference between it and the most recent iteration of the R? Plus it would need that wing for the vehicles mission. Now it WOULD look stupid on a street car. Then it would be legitimate rice.

Just an opinion, but that car looks ridiculous. I hope and pray to the heavens that when Ford finally releases their hot rod version of the `05 Stang that they do it with class. I think the Bullitt was very cool and the Mach 1 is cool too. The `04 Cobra... ehhh... ok, but it still has a bit of that "exotic race car" look to it which I really do not care for. Again, just a personal opinion. I am already planning on buying the next Stang "hot rod" (whenever it comes out), but if it looks silly (like that GT-R thing), then I guess I'll be forced to go back to GM. I'd rather drive that dull looking GTO than drive something that looks like a wannabee Ferrari with "ricer" mods, etc. Well, if I am not mistaken, the Mach 1 did pretty well, so hopefully that is a signal to Ford that there are still a lot of hardcore American musclecar fans out there (like me) who like the look and feel of a classic American musclecar, and not some overly flashy wannabee exotic. I wish SVT would lean more in the direction of "musclecar" than "exotic" as well... I probably would have picked up an `03 Cobra if it looked like a Mach 1... but that "ferrari" styling just doesn't do it for me. In a perfect world, I'd want the closest thing to a `69 Mach 1 428 that would be possible. The `04 Mach 1 comes close, but imagine that same Mach 1 treatment in an `05 body... that would REALLY look like an original! Would be awesome! And give it at least 360 hp. I hope this might happen... but when I saw that GT-R thing, I was very discouraged... except for the 500 hp part.

You are forgiven for calling an American Le Mans race car rice :).
